Ian Macaulay

Born and raised in Scotland, Ian relocated to London to study photojournalism and launch his photographic career in 1985. Originally working for fashion trade magazines and public relations companies, he now photographs extensively for the retail, financial, legal and technology sectors, and his striking images have appeared in The Independent, The Guardian and The Sunday Telegraph, as well as many annual reports and corporate communications publications.

Creative corporate portraiture has become his specialty, and he excels at producing imaginative, high quality images very quickly, engaging with his subjects to work collaboratively. His clients include J Walter Thompson, Legal & General, Ogilvy, Triumph International, IBM, Rio Tinto, Xerox, Clifford Chance, Baker & McKenzie and the Rank Organisation.

Ian is visiting tutor at the University for the Arts for London where he teaches professional photographic practice.
